Nestled against the wooded West Hills, Thesis Office brings the surrounding landscape of West Hills and Forest Park in through the use of exposed mass timber and floor-to-ceiling glazing. Programming includes four stories of creative offices and an all-hands gathering space on the ground floor.
The design team chose to use of Cross-laminated timber (CLT) as a key structural component for its sustainability, aesthetic, cost-efficiency, and ease of construction. Concrete shear walls comprise the primary lateral system for the mass timber structure.
