Kin Park Pavilion

Fort St. John, BC

Overview

The Kin Park Pavilion is part of an extensive upgrade to Fort St. John’s community park. Mass timber will be used throughout the structure, and will be showcased with exposed CLT roof and wall panels. The pavilion will house an open fire pit, storage for sporting events and a public bathroom.

Project Details

Kalesnikoff supplied 3-ply CLT panels. Machining included custom cut outs for windows and for a fireplace flume. We also supplied DFL Glulam beams as billets with custom machining for mitred connections. Half laps, plywood and steel splines were used for various points on the CLT roof structure.
